Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Joan Miró achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in September last year. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work La bauge du sanglier (The Lair of the Wild Boar), plate II from Haï-Ku (M. 551, C. 118)) sold for GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,019.01) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joan Miró erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wurde die Arbeit La bauge du sanglier (The Lair of the Wild Boar), plate II from Haï-Ku (M. 551, C. 118)) für GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.019,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
