Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Christies in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Constellations by Joan Miró. It changed hands for a price of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 54,638.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
