This work of art by Joan Jonas could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online: NYC auction, the work Iceland Photo For "Volcano Saga" #3, 1985-2003 changed hands for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,281.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joan Jonas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Iceland Photo For "Volcano Saga" #3 in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,284.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joan Jonas konnte im Juli 2018 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
