The work Pine and Narcissus by Jing Hengyi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. It achieved a price of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 2,513.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Admittedly, works by Jing Hengyi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in Running Script in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 184,000.00 (€ 17,113.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pine and Narcissus von Jing Hengyi kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 2.513,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jing Hengyi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 184.000,00 (€ 17.113,19).
