A top price for Jing Hengyi
This artwork by Jing Hengyi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Calligraphy in Running Script sold for HKD 184,000.00 (€ 17,113.19) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. This high result makes Calligraphy in Running Script the most expensive artwork by Jing Hengyi that we have observed at auctions so far.
