Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-Character Poem in Qi Script by Jin Nong was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. The price achieved of HKD 352,800.00 (€ 41,884.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Nong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Qi Script in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,520,000.00 (€ 878,536.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem in Qi Script von Jin Nong wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 352.800,00 (€ 41.884,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Nong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Qi Script im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.520.000,00 (€ 878.536,50).
