A top price for Jin Nong - as previously expected
The work Calligraphy In Qi Script by Jin Nong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 7,520,000.00 (€ 878,536.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 7,000,000.00 – 8,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy In Qi Script is the most expensive artwork by Jin Nong that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Qi Script von Jin Nong kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion.
