Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Clerical Script by Jin Nong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 92,867.55). Admittedly, works by Jin Nong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Qi Script in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,520,000.00 (€ 878,536.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Jin Nong kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 92.867,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jin Nong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Qi Script im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.520.000,00 (€ 878.536,50).
