Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Buddhist Worship by Jin Nong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 52,042.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 400,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Nong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Qi Script in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,520,000.00 (€ 878,536.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Buddhist Worship von Jin Nong kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 52.042,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Nong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Qi Script im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.520.000,00 (€ 878.536,50).
