The work Wood by Jimmie Durham was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 25,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Admittedly, works by Jimmie Durham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apache -Rg16 G-8-13”Sch40-Pvc-1120 Nsf-81-D-1785-260Ps1@73°F in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 168,176.52).

Die Arbeit Wood von Jimmie Durham kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 25.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jimmie Durham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apache -Rg16 G-8-13”Sch40-Pvc-1120 Nsf-81-D-1785-260Ps1@73°F im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 168.176,52).
