Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jim Hodges could be acquired at Bonhams in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples auction, the work Blanket (Norton Family Christmas Project) changed hands for USD 89.25 (€ 83.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jim Hodges achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work When We Stay in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,609,772.94).
