Auction result well in line with expectations
The work As close as I can get by Jim Hodges was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May this year. The price achieved of USD 69,850.00 (€ 65,562.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jim Hodges achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work When We Stay in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,609,772.94).

Die Arbeit As close as I can get von Jim Hodges kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 69.850,00 (€ 65.562,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden.
