Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Chinese Paintings Online: Modern Masters, which included the work Winter Landscape by Jiang Zhaoshen. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,044.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Zhaoshen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery of Four Seasons in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,060,000.00 (€ 122,592.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Chinese Paintings Online: Modern Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter Landscape von Jiang Zhaoshen zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.044,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Zhaoshen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery of Four Seasons im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.060.000,00 (€ 122.592,79).
