Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scholars by the Cliff by Jiang Zhaoshen was sold in the Chinese Paintings Online: Modern Masters auction at Christies in New York in December 2020. The price achieved of USD 500.00 (€ 408.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Zhaoshen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery of Four Seasons in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,060,000.00 (€ 122,592.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scholars by the Cliff von Jiang Zhaoshen wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online: Modern Masters bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 500,00 (€ 408,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Zhaoshen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery of Four Seasons im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.060.000,00 (€ 122.592,79).
