This artwork by Jiang Zhaoshen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Cultivating Delight: Collecting Chinese Art auction, the work Calligraphy in Running Script sold for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,217.26) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Zhaoshen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery of Four Seasons in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,060,000.00 (€ 122,592.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Zhaoshen erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Cultivating Delight: Collecting Chinese Art wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.217,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Zhaoshen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery of Four Seasons im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.060.000,00 (€ 122.592,79).
