Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Great Beijing: Drum and Bell Tower I by Jiang Xu was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in April 2015. The price achieved of CNY 17,100.00 (€ 2,469.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 16,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Xu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twelve Views of a Sunflower Field XII in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 11,300,000.00 (€ 1,081,030.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Great Beijing: Drum and Bell Tower I von Jiang Xu kam im April 2015 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 17.100,00 (€ 2.469,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 16.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Xu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twelve Views of a Sunflower Field XII im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.300.000,00 (€ 1.081.030,25).
