Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Winter Scenery by Jiang Xu was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 566,400.00 (€ 66,855.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 480,000.00 – 780,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Xu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twelve Views of a Sunflower Field XII in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 11,300,000.00 (€ 1,081,030.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Winter Scenery von Jiang Xu wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 566.400,00 (€ 66.855,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 480.000,00 – 780.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Xu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twelve Views of a Sunflower Field XII im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.300.000,00 (€ 1.081.030,25).
