Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Perching By The Peach Blossoms by Jiang Hongwei was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,562.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 350,000.00 – 450,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jiang Hongwei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Breeze, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 152,370.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Perching By The Peach Blossoms von Jiang Hongwei wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.562,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 350.000,00 – 450.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jiang Hongwei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Breeze beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 152.370,31) versteigert wurde.
