Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jiang Hongwei achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Lotus Pond sold for HKD 1,610,000.00 (€ 149,740.45) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jiang Hongwei; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Spring Breeze sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 152,370.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Hongwei erzielte im April 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Lotus Pond für HKD 1.610.000,00 (€ 149.740,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jiang Hongwei; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Spring Breeze im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 152.370,31).
