This work without title by Jia Aili was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 3,402,000.00 (€ 407,680.31), 55% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Aili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 55 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jia Aili wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 3.402.000,00 (€ 407.680,31) und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Aili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
