Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Cap Donning Man by Jia Aili was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 295,709.57). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Aili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Cap Donning Man von Jia Aili kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 2.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 295.709,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Aili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
