Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wasteland - 0042 by Jia Aili was sold in the Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 4,788,000.00 (€ 561,848.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 4,000,000.00 – 6,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jia Aili have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).

Die Arbeit Wasteland - 0042 von Jia Aili wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.788.000,00 (€ 561.848,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 4.000.000,00 – 6.000.000,00 angegeben worden.
