Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Wolf 4 by Ji Yong-Ho for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,406.88). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ji Yong-Ho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mutant, Mutant 4 in May 2006 with an auction result of HKD 312,000.00 (€ 31,338.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Wolf 4 von Ji Yong-Ho für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.406,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ji Yong-Ho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mutant, Mutant 4 im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 312.000,00 (€ 31.338,58).
