Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ram's head 5 by Ji Yong-Ho was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,873.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ji Yong-Ho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mutant, Mutant 4, which sold at auction in May 2006 for HKD 312,000.00 (€ 31,338.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ram's head 5 von Ji Yong-Ho kam im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.873,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ji Yong-Ho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mutant, Mutant 4 beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für HKD 312.000,00 (€ 31.338,58) versteigert wurde.
