Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art, which included the work Niño Montado Sobre Un Tronco by Jesús Guerrero Galván. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,899.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jesús Guerrero Galván achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Concepción in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).

Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Niño Montado Sobre Un Tronco von Jesús Guerrero Galván zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.899,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jesús Guerrero Galván erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Concepción im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 123.229,85).
