Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams in London held the auction Photographs Now The Collector's Edition, which included the work Small Woods Where I Met Myself (Final Version) by Jerry Uelsmann. The price achieved of USD 2,304.00 (€ 2,090.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jerry Uelsmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (floating trees) in April last year with an auction result of USD 17,640.00 (€ 16,741.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Photographs Now The Collector's Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Small Woods Where I Met Myself (Final Version) von Jerry Uelsmann zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.304,00 (€ 2.090,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jerry Uelsmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (floating trees) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 16.741,01).
