Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jeremy Dickinson could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work 11 Reds changed hands for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,748.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeremy Dickinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bus Compound in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,704.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeremy Dickinson konnte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit 11 Reds für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.748,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeremy Dickinson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bus Compound im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.704,80).
