Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Severed Cab (Avalon Salvage IV) by Jeremy Dickinson was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,150.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeremy Dickinson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bus Compound, which sold at auction in September 2010 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,704.80).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.150,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden.
