Fine Paintings auction, the work Portrait of Frederikke Maria Sophia Brockdorff, seated full-length, in a white dress, in a park landscape with her dog beside her sold for EUR 55,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jens Juel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marie-Sophie-Frederikke, Princesse De Danemark Et De Norvège Avec Sa Fille, La Princesse Caroline, which sold at auction in September 2015 for EUR 195,000.00.
