Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Retour À La Ferme by Jenny Montigny was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art including Russian and Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 43,000.00 (€ 28,313.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jenny Montigny have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fille Au Jardin in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 220,265.34).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 43.000,00 (€ 28.313,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jenny Montigny auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fille Au Jardin im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 220.265,34).
