The price achieved of AUD 114,000.00 (€ 58,787.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeffrey Smart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian The Painted Factory, Tuscany in August 2009 with an auction result of AUD 870,000.00 (€ 511,490.18).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 114.000,00 (€ 58.787,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden.
