Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Outburst (from In a Dream You Saw a Way to Survive and You Were Full of Joy...) by Jeff Wall was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,793.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeff Wall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dead Troops Talk (A vision after an ambush of a Red Army patrol, near Moqor, Afghanistan, winter 1986) in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 3,666,500.00 (€ 2,965,464.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Outburst (from In a Dream You Saw a Way to Survive and You Were Full of Joy...) von Jeff Wall kam im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion.
