It achieved a price of EUR 940.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31 %. Admittedly, works by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 5,975.00.

Die Arbeit Vogelhuisje von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting wurde im September 2001 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 940,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.975,00.
