Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS DRAWINGS AND COPIES AFTER OLD MASTERS, which included the work Still life with coffee-grinder and white pot by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting. The price achieved of NLG 1,638.28 (€ 755.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 5,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS DRAWINGS AND COPIES AFTER OLD MASTERS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with coffee-grinder and white pot von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 1.638,28 (€ 755,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.975,00.
