Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Citronade sold for EUR 657.25 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 300.00. Admittedly, works by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 5,975.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting erzielte im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit Citronade für EUR 657,25 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.975,00.
