Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le jugement de Paris by Jean Souverbie was sold in the Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction at Sothebys in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,645.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Souverbie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Sommeil, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 105,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le jugement de Paris von Jean Souverbie wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.645,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Souverbie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Sommeil beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 105.850,00 versteigert wurde.
