Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Baigneuse Au Repos by Jean Souverbie was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Souverbie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Sommeil in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 105,850.00.

Die Arbeit Baigneuse Au Repos von Jean Souverbie kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Souverbie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Sommeil im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 105.850,00.
