In the Jacques Grange | Collectionneur auction, the work Pair Of Ambassador Armchairs, Circa 1955 sold for EUR 345,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Royère - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'OURS POLAIRE' SOFA, CIRCA 1952, which sold at auction in November this year for USD 945,000.00 (€ 866,336.63).
