Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Enfilade, vers 1950-1960 by Jean Royère was sold in the NOW! auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Royère achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'OURS POLAIRE' SOFA, CIRCA 1952 in November this year with an auction result of USD 945,000.00 (€ 866,336.63).

Die Arbeit Enfilade, vers 1950-1960 von Jean Royère wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion NOW! bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.560,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Royère erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'OURS POLAIRE' SOFA, CIRCA 1952 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 945.000,00 (€ 866.336,63).
