Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Nu Dans Un Interieur by Jean Puy for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,884.61). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Day Sale Afternoon session at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Puy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nu Au Peignoir, which sold at auction in June 2009 for GBP 73,250.00 (€ 85,956.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nu Dans Un Interieur von Jean Puy für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.884,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Day Sale Afternoon session bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Puy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nu Au Peignoir beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für GBP 73.250,00 (€ 85.956,42) versteigert wurde.
