Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ecce Homo (Franke 12) by Jean-Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2002. The price achieved of GBP 597.50 (€ 917.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Polish Rider, after Rembrandt in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,050.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ecce Homo (Franke 12) von Jean-Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine kam im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 597,50 (€ 917,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Polish Rider, after Rembrandt im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.050,22).
