Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2013 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern, which included the work Le Foyer De L'Opéra by Marcel Cosson. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,646.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcel Cosson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A La Brasserie, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 15,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Foyer De L'Opéra von Marcel Cosson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.646,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcel Cosson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A La Brasserie beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 15.850,00 versteigert wurde.
