Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Le grand foyer de l'opéra by Marcel Cosson for USD 750.00 (€ 679.84). This price was achieved in the auction Living With Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Cosson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A La Brasserie in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 15,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le grand foyer de l'opéra von Marcel Cosson für USD 750,00 (€ 679,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Living With Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Cosson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A La Brasserie im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.850,00.
