Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Cadeaux De Noël, 1949 by Jean-Jules-Louis Cavaillès was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.00 (€ 3,713.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Jules-Louis Cavaillès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venise, La Salute in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,876.05).
