It achieved a price of EUR 2,860.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Joseph-Xavier Bidauld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Augustan bridge on the Nera river, near the town of Narni, Italy in January 2005 with an auction result of USD 441,600.00 (€ 338,416.74).

Die Arbeit Vue D'Un Lac Italien von Jean-Joseph-Xavier Bidauld kam im Februar letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.860,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Joseph-Xavier Bidauld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Augustan bridge on the Nera river, near the town of Narni, Italy im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 441.600,00 (€ 338.416,74).
