However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Joseph-Xavier Bidauld - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Augustan bridge on the Nera river, near the town of Narni, Italy, which sold at auction in January 2005 for USD 441,600.00 (€ 338,416.74).
