Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 89.903,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Honoré Fragonard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Verrou (The Bolt) im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.172.000,00 (€ 7.681.613,89).
