Sold at the upper estimate price
The work La ferme by Jean Brusselmans was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2016. The auction ended at the price of EUR 5,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Brusselmans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Promenade: the walk in November 2009 with an auction result of EUR 58,600.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit La ferme von Jean Brusselmans kam im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Brusselmans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Promenade: the walk im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.600,00.
