Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Jeté De Roses Sur Un Entablement by Jean-Baptiste Robie. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 910.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Robie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, anenomes and peonies, strawberries, a silver-gilt ostrich egg cup and a German gold-gilt tankard on a draped table in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 54,050.00 (€ 92,531.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeté De Roses Sur Un Entablement von Jean-Baptiste Robie zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 910,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Robie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses, anenomes and peonies, strawberries, a silver-gilt ostrich egg cup and a German gold-gilt tankard on a draped table im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 54.050,00 (€ 92.531,41).
