In April 2013 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A Still Life with Roses, Gladioli and other Flowers on a Ledge with a Bird by a Stream by Jean-Baptiste Robie. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,500.00 (€ 36,072.30), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Baptiste Robie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roses, anenomes and peonies, strawberries, a silver-gilt ostrich egg cup and a German gold-gilt tankard on a draped table, which sold at auction in April 2000 for GBP 54,050.00 (€ 92,531.41).

Im April 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life with Roses, Gladioli and other Flowers on a Ledge with a Bird by a Stream von Jean-Baptiste Robie zur Versteigerung kam.
